Getting from point A to point B, most brand followers in the Lancaster area and beyond reach immediately for keys to their four-wheeled new Kia vehicle. But let's imagine for a moment that Kia had a two-wheeled option, sound interesting?

Well, Lancaster Kia is extremely excited to share that such a decision just might become a reality quite soon. In fact, Kia has already come full circle and started designing a line of innovative bicycles for its commuting consumers in Korea.

Nearly 68 years after the brand first got its start manufacturing steel bicycle tubing, Kia has put forth the K Velo bike. Designed by the company's talented head designer, Peter Schreyer, the K Velo City and Speed variants both serve as a tribute to the automaker's past and present.

Specifically, the two-wheeler boasts lightweight aluminum materials and a style that hints of its four-wheeled relatives. What exactly do we mean by that? Think a "tiger nosed" profile and sleek lines.

In addition to the City and Speed models, Kia has also put to production a "mini" velo. Fitted with 20-inch wheels, an 11-speed gear set up and an extremely compact frame, this option is ideal for quick city jaunts.

As we alluded to earlier, the Kia K Velo isn't slated for the United States right now. However, we invite you to stay tuned and watch for more details as the brand continues to evolve and expand.
