You may remember that a few months back we uncovered the details regarding the Wonder Woman Inspired Kia Sportage. This is just one of the several vehicles within the Justice League inspired fleet. The others include Green Lantern, Batman, the Flash, Cyborg, Superman and Aquaman. To conclude the lineup, Kia recently unveiled its eighth and final customized vehicle that would be joining the lineup at the San Diego Comic-Con.
The last model is a 2014 Kia Sorento, and definitely has the flashiest design yet. West Coast Customs designed the vehicle to represent all seven Justice League superheroes. On the passenger's side you'll find the Flash, Superman, Aquaman and Cyborg, and on the driver's side are Green Lantern, Batman and Wonder Woman. In addition, the hood sports the official Justice League logo. The interior has some superhero vibes as well, with each of the seven seats embroidered with one of the superhero logos.
This final installment is yet another great vehicle that will support the "We Can Be Heroes" campaign, which raises money for people in the Cape Horn region of Africa who are afflicted by drought and famine. Kia's partnership with DC Comics has assisted greatly in raising $285,000 for the campaign through various auctions and events.
Michael Sprague, executive vice president of Marketing and Communications for Kia Motors America, explains, "Auctioning the Justice League-inspired Sorento is the perfect way to finish off what has been a very positive and successful partnership between Kia and DC Entertainment…Like all of the Justice League-inspired vehicles before it, this customized Sorento blends the automotive and pop-culture worlds while also allowing Kia to extend our philanthropic efforts to support this very worthy cause."1
It's hard to pick which of the eight models in the fleet is the best one, but we'd love to hear your opinion. Simply head over to our Lancaster Kia showroom in East Petersburg, PA anytime during our normal business hours!
